Actress Angelina Jolie wants to shock audiences with her upcoming portrayal of Cleopatra in a new film because she wants to change the Egyptian pharaoh's reputation as a sex symbol.

The 35-year-old will play the lead in David Fincher's version of the story, which is set for release in 2013 on the 50th anniversary of the original flick starring Elizabeth Taylor.

And the Hollywood star says her take on Cleopatra will be a lot less glamorous than Elizabeth's portrayal.

She told British Stella magazine: "I thought it was just all about the glamour, but then I read about her and she was a very strong mother, she spoke five languages and she was a leader.

"My performance will never be as lovely as Elizabeth's. We are trying to get into a different truth about her as a pharaoh in history and not as a sex symbol, because she really wasn't."

The Tourist star added: "Even this idea of her having many lovers - it was possible that it was only two. She is very interesting, but she wasn’t a great beauty."

Harry Potter star Emma Watson doesn’t need magic spell to be in  good shape, because she already has it. Donned in  a pink sports bra on Sunday  she shows off her trimmed midriff.

The 21-year-old actress is currently  filming her movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Emma wrote in her blog recently to clarify rumors about why she is not returning to Brown University next year.

“I felt the need to let you all know the reason I took a semester off from Brown had nothing to do with bullying as the media have been suggesting recently. I have never been bullied in my life and certainly never at Brown. This ‘10 points to Gryffindor’ incident never even happened. I feel the need to say this because accusing Brown students of something as serious as bullying and this causing me to leave seems beyond unfair,” Emma wrote.

Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez Are Totally Having Sexy Romance! (Photos)

Following their appearance at the Billboard Awards this past Sunday, love birds Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez flew off to Hawaii for a romantic holiday.

Of course, it did not take long for photos from the ‘private’ getaway to surface online…

Photos taken of the couple sharing a private moment in the ocean surfaced this evening and fury erupted via twitter.

Many of Bieber’s fan who call themselves ‘Beliebers‘ were enraged, and sent tons of hateful tweets Selena’s way.

The photos are quite intimate in nature and speculation is abundant as to the sexual nature of their relationship. Many have brought up the fact that Bieber wears a ‘promise ring‘.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber share a playful kiss as they enjoy the ocean waves during their vacation in Maui, Hawaii earlier this week.

After grabbing a bite to eat and hitting the waves, the twosome, along with their families went jet skiing and para-sailing along the shore.

Robert Pattinson: Arsenal is the one true love I miss most now I'm in LA

Despite currently going out with movie pin-up and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart - and being the dream date of many millions of teenagers around the world - R-Pattz singled out the Gunners above all else as the thing he misses most about England.

Pattinson now resides in Los Angeles, where his acting career has taken off since his starring role in the world-famous series of vampire films.

And speaking to Metro about what he misses most now he's based in the US of A, he said: 'I miss the newspapers - I still prefer English newspapers to US ones.

'I miss reading the sport section. I miss the football… Arsenal.'

R-Pattz has scooped more awards in the last few years than his football team, who look set to go another year without a trophy.

The 24-year-old will almost certainly have surprised many Londoners by saying he also misses the stench of the smoggy capital.

'I miss the light in London, which is different to anywhere, and also the smell of the city,' he continued, before predictably adding: 'I miss getting pints in pubs.'

He's probably one of the only ones who can afford them these days...

Arnold Schwarzenegger's next role may be president of the EU

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who made a seamless transition from Hollywood film stardom to California governor, could have his sights set on a new job as next head of the European Union, U.S. media reported.

The Austrian-born former body builder, 63, at loose ends as he tries to figure out what his next act should be, reportedly is being advised by aides to return to his native Europe to run for the EU presidency, Newsweek reported.

“In the next few years, the EU will be looking for a much more high-profile president — somebody who can unify Europe,” Schwarzenegger's chief of staff Terry Tamminen told the magazine.
“The French won't want a German, and the Germans won't want an Italian. How about a European-born person who went off to America and — could return to be the Washington or Jefferson of a new unified Europe?” said Tamminen, all but nominating his former boss for the job.

Schwarzenegger, who in January ended two terms as California's governor, occupies a unique place as an American celebrity who is as much a politician as he is a movie star.

When he ended his stint as California's Republican “Governator,” observers were curious to see if the former action hero would return to the big screen or remain in the political fray.

Even now, Schwarzenegger has remained mum on the question of whether he'll pursue a career in politics or movies.

What is certain is that he will not be able to run for another political office he might like to vie for — U.S. president. Under American law, only native born Americans can stand for the highest U.S. office.

Still, Newsweek suggested that there are fans, both inside and outside America, who might not be averse to Arnold as U.S. president.

The magazine cited a recent meeting in London between Schwarzenegger and Prime Minister David Cameron, in which the British politician joked: “We need to change the (U.S.) Constitution and then you can run (for president). That's what we're going to do.”

Schwarzenegger came to the United States as a penniless 21-year-old in 1968, but became a millionaire and won the Mr. Universe title four more times. He then shrugged off barbs about his thick accent as he turned to acting.

Joining Hollywood's royalty, his ominous “Terminator” catchphrases “I'll be back” and “Hasta la vista, baby” have now entered the English lexicon — and he still uses them frequently as a politician.

Even if he quits both politics and acting, Newsweek wrote, he is plenty busy with his work for the United Nations and other organizations on climate change and numerous other charitable causes.

A book deal also is said to be in the works, and he is reported to be in talks for a sequel to 1994 blockbuster “True Lies.”

But even Schwarzenegger's wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver, a member of the illustrious Kennedy political dynasty, told Newsweek that she had no clue what her mercurial husband's next move will be.

“No matter what Arnold decides to do, I'm sure he'll have fun doing it, and it will have impact,” she said.
