Selena Gomez Covers Teen Vogue June 2011

Selena Gomez covers 'Teen Vogue' June/July 2011 issue looking lovely as usual. In the interview, Selena talks about dating and Justin Bieber, but also leaving 'Wizards of Waverly Place', paparazzi and her personal style. Check out what the young Disney starlet had to share with the magazine.

Cute Selena Gomez strikes a pose for the June/July 2011 issue of 'Teen Vogue'. The 18-year-old actress and singer opened up for the magazine speaking about Justin Bieber, love issues, fans, paparazzi, and career. The Disney starlet became famous for her role as Alex Russo in the Emmy Award-winning TV series 'Wizards of Waverly Place'. Last year, she confirmed that the fourth season of the show would be its last. Speaking about this, Selena told 'Teen Vogue':

"It’s like starting over. I was trying to explain it to one of my friends, and he said, 'You’ll be fine. People believe in you.' But when they’re putting together a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio, I don’t think they’re going to go, 'Selena Gomez would be great for this!' I’m not an option. It’s humbling, having to go from this Disney high back down to having to fight for roles."

In 2009 Selena formed a band, 'Selena Gomez & the Scene', and their third album called 'Otherside' is set to hit shelves on June 28, 2011. On the lead single 'Who says', the actress admits that, "I just thought [my fans] needed it, because of bullying. I hope it inspires them to be who they are."

Selena and Justin Bieber have been friends for about two years and finally went public with their relationship in February. "We've always been friends," she told 'Teen Vogue'.

On love she reveals that, "When your heart is broken, you want to hate everything. You want to say, 'I don’t believe in love; this is ridiculous. It’s not supposed to hurt this much.' But at this moment in my life, I’m at a point where I want to be in love, to give my all and fall head over heels. I’m eighteen. I’m not going to marry anybody I’m with, and I know that. The next heartbreak I have, I’m sure I’ll be like, 'How can I live without this person?' But I’m still trying to dive in and enjoy it."

Selena says she would do everything for her fans. "A lot of times, the paparazzi will try to use them. They’ll say, 'Your fans want this.' And it’s frustrating because my fans are amazing: They love me, they support me. And I do everything for them. But the press? They don’t care about me. They just want something on me that they can use. They just want to get that shot."

As for her personal style, the beautiful actress reveals she is more into the relaxed approach. "I like flow-y, open clothes, rather than tight-fitting, although I'm getting a bit more confident in my skin," she told the magazine.
