Ashton Kutcher's the man to replace Charlie Sheen

There's a new warlock on the block. Ashton Kutcher is replacing Charlie Sheen on “Two and a Half Men.”

The “That 70's Show” alum and “No Strings Attached” actor is set to join the No. 1-rated CBS sitcom, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The deal came together quickly after Hugh Grant passed on joining the cast. “Men” creator Chuck Lorre has evidently crafted a funny storyline to introduce Kutcher.

“I can't wait to work with this ridiculously talented 2.5 team and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers' homes,” Kutcher says in a statement.

Before the news was official, Demi Moore's hubby took to his Twitter page earlier in the week to tease with the following comment: “What's the square root of 6.25?” That would be 2.5.

What's Charlie got to say about the news? “Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. … Oh wait, so am I,” the fired actor tells TMZ.com. “Enjoy planet Chuck (Lorre), Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty or love there.”
